Wall realized for Writersblockmurals. In this work, I created a composition inspired by the nature that surrounds the neighborhood. For this building, my idea was to work on the themes of nature, relaxation, happiness, and friendship with my distinctive style. My idea developed by working on a playful and colorful vertical composition with different framed subjects. I want to inspire comforting and domestic feelings for everyone nearby. A colorful metaphor with a strong visual and communicative impact. All interpreted with a chromatic choice that fits perfectly with the surrounding context, giving a new, deep, and renewed identity to the wall. Pictures by Jacob van Essen

A selection of subjects to think of what we have left behind and we’re we come from to see what expects from the future. A circular movement that keep shapes thighs in time and space.

Wall realized for RUA Street Art Festival.The main inspiration for this one is based on the famous local poem “Kalevi Poeg” where the whole world is born and brood by a grouse egg. As reference for this Cosmic egg vision I’ve used Hildegard Von Bingen representation. She was a visionary abbess lived in high middle age, writer, composer and philosopher. Also egg shape is used in psychology connected to self representation. Another very important topic for the identity of this country after Urss collapse. Wall realised for Osona Art I Mur project, organized by B-Murals. Manlleu chose to focus its mural interventions on the theme of the river Ter, both understood as a biological landscape and a historical and community space: for its role in Manlleu’s economic development, and for being a space for meetings, walks and emotional ties. The river, chosen as a theme for interpretation, is deeply connected to the individual and collective experiences of the people of Manlleu.

Huge wall realized for the sixth edition of Reperti/Urbani. It always a challenge reflecting about what makes sense to paint on complex surfaces like this one. I’ve came up with this fragmented narration about a topic often shown in my works: space and universe. Here’s there is no specific storyline: some referring to the ancient city observatory and but mostly an immersive experience walking into this intergalactic journey. The topic is the interaction between plants and insects read here through the lents of ecosystem. Made up of a community of living organisms that interact with each other, in a specific habitat constituting a self-sufficient system in dynamic equilibrium of the relationships that contribute to the continuous exchange of energy. Plants need insects, just as insects need plants to be able to feed, find shelter and reproduce. This theme is further explored from the formal point of view by the artists who have worked in synergy, interacting and compensating each other. Project by: @il_cerchio_e_le_gocce

The work is proposed as a long imaginary carpet, recalled by the fringes at the opening and closing of the work, with a careful composition of symbolic elements that recall the city, its history and its best-known legends. The work is constructed through a mirror symmetry with alternation and reiteration of elements that allow a palindromic reading of the work. A double series of columns, a classical element par excellence opens and closes the work, creating a parenthesis, a temporal vortex projected back into the ancient history of the city. A second wall in Civitanova Marche (MC) at @vedo_a_colori to work on a special topic really connected to the city: a launch you can find only there used to fish by the local families. Every boats had its own specific logos and symbols often connected with the families name and well known by its inhabitants. A very old boats no longer used but that carry a deep story. Realized on the walls of the fish market of the city exactly in front of the harbour.

Curated by KillThePig. The topic for this work starts from the recent discovery of an ancient Etruscan temple nearby. The temple was titled to Vei, Demetra: the goddess of nature, regeneration and cyclicality. The whole work It’s a complex layering of meaning about nature, its rhythm and the obscure Etruscan culture that surrounds Vetralla’s area. Looking back to this ancient and mysterious culture to dig a little bit more inside its relationship with Mother Nature. Inside the painting you can read an Etruscan calendar, the moon cycle and some specific nature elements of Tuscia environment.

Description

Wall located in Corbola, small town at the mouth of Po river. Nearby on a small island on the river from 1946 until 1955 Luigi Salvini and some other men established a free an independent republic, called “Repubblica di Bosgattia”, living only in tents under the willow, catching river fishes and spending time there without newspaper or radios. They also had their own passport and currency. Kind of an utopic and funny summer moment straight after the WW2. Pretty interesting story and not very known also there where it happened! It’s been really intriguing discovering and learning about it. Pictures by Mauristan.

Wall realized for the second edition of Manufactory Project.
Its a symbolic interpretation of the story of Quinine, a plant discovered and imported from the mountains of Peru by a Portuguese monk in 1632, and used in the centuries afterwards to cure malaria, very strong disease you could get from mosquitos, in the swamp area of Comacchio.

Wall painted outside of the occupied and squat space of TempoRosso. The guys are fighting since several years with big environment problem with toxic, illegal and hazardous wastes dumped illegally into the ground of the surrounded area. This business is one of the way how Camorra make and recycle dirty money there. This wastes have been poisoned countryside for decades and reveal an increasing level of cancer in the area, called sadly “land of fire”. The space led a protest and a big popular fight against this sick system during last years with sabotage actions and protest.

Wall realized for Myllenium Award in S. Lorenzo (Rome), an important and strong district in terms of identity, social relations and welcoming people. The idea was to represent all the associations, occupied spaces and realities who give a strong contribution and help to people in the district and in Rome. Most of those realties who fight everyday against fascism, racism, sexism are crushed by institutions itself and by the chance of an eviction.
